CATO - 2006 - The Libertarian Vote	David Boaz of CATO indicates in this study that approximately 13% of the American electorate can be described as libertarian, as opposed to liberal or conservative. This is a large and growing group – Cato says the number was closer to 9% back in 1990 – that has a higher-than-average propensity to vote.
