Bob is a fourth generation Floridian who can still remember when Florida had a population of only six million people. His love for his native state and country drives him to be involved to the greatest extent possible in politics and policy at the local, state, and federal level.
Bob served for 14 years as the Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Central East Florida. He has served as Chairman of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Florida for 8 years and was elected in September 2023 to another 2-year term as Chairman.
In the 2018 election cycle Bob ran for Governor of Florida, finishing third out of eight candidates running in the Republican primary.
Always active in his community, Bob has served as a past Chairman of the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard County and as a member of various Boards and Commissions, including the Brevard County Planning and Zoning Board, the County Charter Review Commission, and the County Affordable Housing Task Force.
His church service has included Chairing the Administrative Council, the Board of Trustees, and the Building Committee.
Bob and his wife Flo have been married for 25 years. They have been blessed with three wonderful children and five beautiful grandchildren.
