Tom has been an RLC member since 2020, and currently serves as Chair of the Lake County RLC. Tom has been a Precinct Committeeman in Lake County since 2019, and served as Lake County Republican Executive Committee Treasurer during 2021 and 2022, then First Vice Chair during 2023 and 2024.
He ran for a seat in the Florida State House in 2022 and for Supervisor of Elections in 2024. He is serving as District Representative on the Lake County Library Advisory Board.
Tom is a veteran of the Army National Guard, trained as a paratrooper, and is currently Sergeant at Arms in his local American Legion Post. Tom is a member of the Phantom Airborne, a civilian parachute club, whose membership requires military parachute training.
As part of his Christian Mission, Tom advocates for more Christian involvement in politics and government, and is an Ambassador for All Pro Pastors International.
Tom lives in Groveland, with his wife, Vara, a recently naturalized US citizen. They have two college aged sons living with them.
