Celeste Ellich, At Large Director 

Celeste is the former Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Broward Republican Executive Committee. She is also Vice Chair for the Broward RLC chapter.

Celeste generally works on at least one campaign per cycle. Her first campaign was Ronald Reagan for President in Texas (1980).

After that, Celeste enlisted in the US Navy. That brought her to Orlando for boot camp where she was appointed as the Master At Arms for her training company. Her first and only duty station was NAS Key West. She flew on Search and Rescue missions with the Safety Officer while waiting for training. Then she attended Intelligence Specialist schooling and worked towards the Grenada Invasion (1983).

Celeste has lobbied on Capitol Hill for River Action Day and also in Tallahassee for Americans For Prosperity.

Celeste is recognized for Leadership skills as President of several different organizations. She was appointed as Foreman to serve on a Federal Grand Jury for two years.

Celeste is involved with her church as a Women’s Guild member and Lector. She also worked on their 5K race committee.

Other positions include Vice President of Republican Federated Women of South Florida, Past President of the Broward Women’s Republican Club, Federated and District Representative for the Florida Federation of Republican Women.

Getting back into uniform, Celeste is a board member of  American Legion Post 36. She serves with their Honor Guard, Color Guard, and Firing Squad. Veterans issues are very Important to her. She works with Concerned Veterans for America.

Celeste Ellich lives in Wilton Manors and knows all about the trials and tribulations of running in Broward for public office. One campaign cycle she was seen going door to door for all Republican candidates although her own race for Commission was non partisan.

Celeste is a life long Republican who works for the good of the party above all else.
