Born in Sarasota, FL, the second of a set of twins, Chris Carman has a passion and love for politics. His love of politics and getting involved stems from early participation in the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts of America Program where Christopher became and is an Eagle Scout with 24 Merit Badges and 3 palms (the highest honor one can achieve in Scouting).
Chris has been extremely active in all levels of politics since he registered to vote in May of 1987. In fact, he has a 100% voter participation in every election he has been eligible for since registering (over 73).
Chris is a member of the Manatee County Republican Executive Committee. He is a member of the Manatee County Republican Liberty Caucus where he has been the Membership Chair since the local chapter formed in March of 2021.
Chris recently finished serving a term as the RLC-FL Regional Director for Central West Florida, which covers from Citrus County in the North to Sarasota County in the South.
